Thirty-eight meeting, Venice: 20-21 April 2017

The 38th ECCHRD meeting will take place on 20-21 April 2017 in Venice (Italy) at the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC).

The agenda will include :

  • Human Rights Digital Library as response to the crisis of specialized libraries
  • Documenting refugees’ status process: contribution of human rights data specialists
  • Library Services to People with Special Needs: report on the work of IFLA Committee
  • Updates and hands-on training on HUDOC
  • Strengthening and widening cooperation among Human Rights Workers: how ICT and ECCHRD network can contribute?

Thirty-seventh meeting: Budapest, 16-17 June 2016

The 37th meeting will take place in Budapest and is organised by the Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives at Central European University.

The agenda for the first day includes various presentations on the topic “Documenting and managing the European refugee crisis locally”. During the second day, there will be presentations on Promoting and teaching human rights and historical dialogue through audiovisual sources and Collecting and using evidence on human rights abuses in current conflict zones.

In addition, there will be presentations of work at network members such as HUDOC (the case database of the European Court of Human Rights, HURIDOCS and OSCE/ODIHR.

The 36th meeting took place from 6 to 8 May 2015. It was organised by Dignity – the Danish Institute Against Torture.
